For Colonial Bank, Teksouth has rescued a Windows 2003/SQL Server 2005 decision support system plagued with instability and excessive ETL times. Leveraging Colonials existing investment, within six (6) weeks Teksouth improved the ETL process from an inconsistent 6-to-12 hour process, to an ETL process that consistently completes successfully in 90 minutes. We accomplished this with a combination of hardware and database configuration, as well as enhancements and optimization of ETL processes written with SQL Server Integration Services.
US Army Reserve Integrated Data Retrieval System (USAR-IDR)
USAR-IDR is a Windows 2003/SQL Server personnel/manpower data warehouse that supports the USAR Full-Time Support directorate. The system also integrates DCPS Civilian Pay and financial data. USAR-IDR allows the Army Reserve to effectively defend funding requests, as manpower is the largest component of O&M cost and a constant focus of Congress. The integration of this critical data has allowed the Army Reserve to identify and correct anomalies in legacy systems that were previously misaligning more than $30M annually.
