Birmingham-based tech firm continues to bring Federal dollars back home

Gardendale, AL, November 28, 2017– Teksouth Corporation was recently awarded a multi-year federal contract to provide data integration and information management support services to Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT) located at Randolph AFB, San Antonio, Texas.

Teksouth President, Staff Ouderkirk, says winning this contract is important for several reasons. “Whenever a long-time client asks you to continue serving their organization, it’s very gratifying. This is especially true when the client has standards as high as the US Air Force,” Ouderkirk said. “We’ve partnered with AFSAT for the past eight years and we’ve worked hard to bring value to the relationship. Being awarded yet another contract is evidence of that value and recognition of our commitment to our customer. Winning this contract is particularly satisfying as it further confirms our solutions meet the information needs and outcomes of our clients across the globe,” Ouderkirk concluded.

The new contract allows Teksouth to continue providing AFSAT managers with insight into the financial status of operating over 1,200 training courses in subjects ranging from use of the English language to effectively flying military aircraft. AFSAT trains over 5,000 students from more than 140 allied-countries each year and operates with an annual budget of more than $9 billion.
