Welcome to August’s session, “Drawing with Data: How to Elevate Power BI Dashboard Design.” This month, Jackie Elfe teaches how to “dress” your data well in Power BI. While carefully prepared data is rightfully considered critical to a useful dashboard, design is often an afterthought to the finished product. Many dashboards are hampered by a lack of design that undermines key insights. In this session, we will take a poorly designed dashboard and walk through methods to improve its design to meet visualization’s true purpose as a data communication tool.
