I would like to take a moment to tell you how pleased I am with the support the team has provided throughout Army Budget. There has been a significant increase in the use of the tools that Josh and his team have been developing and we are moving to a ‘one stop shop’ for many of our reporting requirements.
Earlier this year [Teksouth] succeeded in being able to obtain accurate, timely reports on Army manpower civilian pay – something I have been trying to get GFEBS to provide since it was first fielded in 2009. I consider this a major success. Plus I now have dashboard on my desk that has the civilian data, plus much, much more – and individuals from other Directorates are seeing it and requesting to be allowed to have it and use the data it contains. While I originally did not agree with [my collegue] at the time he said we absolutely needed this type of support and Teksouth can provide it – this turned out to be the best guidance he ever provided…you have been doing tremendously good work.
